Pental Ltd was due for their ISO 9001 Quality Management System surveillance audit. With multiple sites and travel restrictions in place, SAI Global conducted the audit using alternative methods.
To meet their surveillance audit deadline, and continue to demonstrate their commitment to their customers and quality improvement, Pental Ltd required a remote audit.
For Robyn Gledhill, Quality Assurance Manager, this new method meant getting support through the audit process to ensure a fair and accurate results.
SAI Global provided support in preparation and during the audit to ensure full coverage and clarity in required outcomes to achieve a very successful surveillance audit.
Pental Ltd , a regional Australian customer-focussed FMCG manufacturing household chemicals and personal care products, uses a quality management system in the design, manufacture, warehousing and dispatch of their products.
ISO 9001:2015 has allowed Pental to review and improve their quality management system and measure their continuous improvement, to ensure their customers receive products of superior quality and innovation.
They also use the system for their head office functions including sales and marketing, design and development and human resources.
“The auditor tasked with this challenge ensured full coverage to the standard in a very professional and adaptive manner.
Using video and audio technology to review the sites, combined with document sharing software and hours of screen time, Pental Ltd were successfully able to complete their remote surveillance audit and continue to demonstrate their commitment to quality.
I appreciated the support given to ensure a successful outcome for both Pental and SAI Global. I would highly recommend SAI Global as a professional organisation who have shown that they can adjust to the challenges of change.
