FSSC 22000 is a food safety certification scheme that creates a framework for food safety management, total supply chain management, and control of food safety hazards.

It incorporates hazard analysis and critical control point (HACCP) principles, implementation plans, and prerequisite programs (PRPs), additional GFSI requirements and based on ISO 22000.
